The 2023 Subaru Outback offers outdoor enthusiasts a comfortable ride, great ground clearance, and plenty of cargo space. At the same time, it offers families a sensible and comfortable car with advanced safety features. 5 Reasons Drivers Love the 2023 Subaru Outback 1. Advanced Safety Technology The standard trims on the Subaru Outback all come with advanced safety technology. For example, there is the standard forward collision warning, automated emergency braking, and lane-keeping assist. It also comes with standard adaptive cruise control. There are available safety options like blind-spot monitoring and rear cross-traffic alerts, as well. 2. Better Visibility Subaru leveled up their game with the windows in the Outback. This matters a lot when you're concerned about visibility in extreme weather conditions in the mountains. It also matters a lot if safety is a top concern in general, like for those with families. The windows in the 2023 Outback were designed to eliminate blind spots. They did this with the front triangle windows and the large side window in the back. The 9.5 inches of ground clearance will also make it easier for drivers to see. 3. Rugged Capabilities Beyond the heightened ground clearance, Subaru also designed bumpers in the front and rear with improved angles. This should make it easier to drive over rugged terrain and clear obstacles. They've also upgraded their X-MODE feature. This optimization feature has settings for deep snow, mud, and other slippery weather conditions. The standard trim comes with 17-inch off-road wheels and all-terrain tires. There is a full-size, regular spare tire underneath the cargo area. This comes with the vehicle, which is a good safety feature if you're driving in rough off-road areas. 4. Cargo Space If you're going on long trips or just carrying a lot of groceries you want to have a lot of cargo space. The 2023 Outback offers 33 cubic feet, which should hold 11 carry-on-sized suitcases. For comparison, the 2023 Legacy holds eight carry-on suitcases, which is still considered significant. 5. Better Roof Rails Outdoor enthusiasts need roof rails to properly carry around equipment. Purchasing roof rails from an outdoor store never quite fits right. This is one of the reasons to buy a Subaru in the first place, getting this kind of equipment with a custom fit. The new Outback has reinforced roof rails. They can support the full weight of a rooftop tent. If this is a feature you use, you know just how great well-designed roof rails are. This can also make safely storing large suitcases up top a much easier job for families on long trips. Drivers who love a reliable car that can handle any weather condition find a lot to love in the Outback. Visit Dalton Subaru today to see our inventory of new cars.
