At Subaru, we believe what we leave behind is a reflection of who we are. That's why Subaru and our retailers partner with the Arbor Day Foundation (TM) to provide and distribute 100,000 regionally appropriate trees across the country. We're proud to establish the largest corporate tree distribution ever. Through this and other Subaru Loves the Earth initiatives, Subaru and our retailers have helped distribute and plant over 1.1 million trees.

Subaru believes we should all have a chance to lead a healthy life. That's why for the past 10 years, Subaru and its retailers like us have partnered with Blood Cancer United® and our local hospital or cancer treatment center to give warm blankets and encouraging messages of hope, written by our staff and customers to support patients facing cancer. Through our efforts during this decade-long partnership, we've supported nearly 500,000 cancer patients nationwide. Together, we are proud to be Blood Cancer United's largest automotive donor.
Subaru and its retailers, like us, are continuing our support of education and high-needs schools in our communities through Subaru Loves Learning(R) by providing teachers across the country with funding to purchase the school supplies and resources they know are needed to help students thrive in the classroom.

Subaru believes all pets deserve a loving home. That's why retailers like us partner with our local animal welfare organization every October to provide direct financial assistance through a grant distributed by the ASPCA® and host pet events to help animals find loving homes. Through our partnership with local and national organizations, Subaru has donated over $70 million, supporting the rescue, adoption, and health of over 700,000 animals. We're proud to be the largest corporate donor to the ASPCA.

Subaru and its retailers believe in giving back to our communities. That's why for every new vehicle sold or leased during the Subaru Share the Love event, Subaru and its retailers, like us, makes a donation to national charities that our owners care about and to over 2,700 local charities where Subaru owners live and work.
Now, after 17 years, Subaru and our retailers have donated nearly $320 million to charity all to give back and to make the world a better place.

From Shelter to Forever Home - Ashley M.
Every October, Dalton Subaru celebrates Subaru Loves Pets Month by supporting Chula Vista Animal Services and covering adoption fees. By removing one of the biggest barriers to adoption, Subaru helps countless pets meet their perfect match. One of those success stories was Dexter, a big-hearted pit bull who had been with the shelter since last December. Despite his sweet nature, his size and breed often made him easy to overlook. During the shelter’s promotion for the final Open House adoption event, Dexter was featured several times in his Halloween costume and quickly became a community favorite. With Dalton Subaru’s support, Dexter’s wait finally ended when he found his perfect match. Throughout October, 217 pets found their adoptive families, including 24 during the Open House event. Through initiatives like this, Dalton Subaru continues to show that love is at the heart of everything they do. Their partnership helps turn hopeful shelter stays into happy endings, one tail wag, one purr, and one forever family at a time. For that, we proudly call them true shelter heroes.
Scripps Mercy Hospital - Dalton Subaru National City - Tasha M.
In the last few years, Dalton Subaru National City has partnered with The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society (LLS) and Scripps Mercy Hospital Chula Vista Well-Being Center through the Subaru Loves to Care initiative. The partnership has involved delivering blankets, 50 patient care kits, and messages of hope to cancer patients. The items were delivered to the Oncology staff at the hospital on June 24th, 2025, by Dalton Subaru National City for distribution to patients in treatment. This year, Dalton Subaru National City has also opted to support the LLS Urgent Need Program, Pediatric which will provide 15 blood cancer patients financial relief to help offset non-medical costs associated with treatment, such as transportation, food, housing, utilities, etc.

Helping others strengthens communities, which is why Dalton Subaru National City is partnering with Operation Warm®, a national nonprofit focused on connecting children with the resources they need to thrive. Thanks to Dalton Subaru and Operation Warm, more than 100 children have new jackets to keep them warm this winter. One mother, who is working hard to create stability for her five children, shared what this meant for her: "Sometimes, the little things make the biggest difference. This is one of those times." At Dalton Subaru, giving back to our community is at the heart of everything we do. Recently, we had the incredible opportunity to partner with our hometown charity, Humble Design San Diego, for a truly special day—transforming a house into a home for Dominique and her family. Dominique has overcome incredible adversity, and it was an honor to be part of her journey. Alongside our marketing partner, Cuento, the Dalton Subaru team worked tirelessly to revamp her home in just a matter of hours. With carefully chosen furnishings, décor, and heartfelt touches, we created a warm, welcoming space where she and her girls can thrive. A particularly meaningful addition was the kids’ showroom display from the 2024 Subaru Share the Love Event, which found a perfect place in their new home. Seeing their faces light up reminded us why we do what we do—because community is everything. Giving back isn’t just something we do; it’s who we are. This project was a testament to our passion for making a difference, and we couldn’t be prouder to stand alongside Humble Design San Diego in creating lasting change, one home at a time.
