Dalton Subaru is providing comfort, hope, and confidence to children in South Bay San Diego who are in need.

Imagine having to go without proper fitting shoes and socks on a regular basis. For millions of children and adults experiencing homelessness and other urgent need situations across the country and even here in San Diego County, this can be a harsh reality.

Helping others is the key to a strong community which is why Dalton Subaru believes in helping to
support individuals and families in urgent need. And this year, during Subaru Loves to Help® month, we joined Subaru and retailers nationwide in partnering with Operation Warm, a national nonprofit focused on connecting children with the resources they need to thrive. This partnership will continue to amplify our support for those who need it most.

On February 28, 2024 Dalton Subaru hosted an Operation Warm Event with SBCS to provide children in urgent need with brand-new shoes, socks and warm coats.

These essential items not only help keep children protected, warm, and dry, they can have a significant impact on a child’s mental and emotional well-being. These items can mean the difference between going to school or not; between participating in activities or sitting out. No child should ever have to face these circumstances.

That’s why Subaru and its retailers like us are proud to be the largest automotive supporter of Operation Warm. Through this partnership and other historical Subaru Loves to Help efforts, Subaru and our retailers will have helped more than 750,000 children and adults in urgent need so far.

This initiative is part of the Subaru Love Promise, our commitment to improving lives in the communities where we live and work. And it’s just one of the reasons why Dalton Subaru is more than a car dealer and Subaru is More Than a Car Company®
