2. Fiesta Island Dog Park (Mission Bay)

Fiesta Island Dog Park is about 7 miles from downtown San Diego. It offers stunning views of Mission Bay. This park is a sandy paradise where your dog can run free. With miles and miles of shoreline, your dog can freely run around dunes, chase balls, and have lots of swim time with their pals in the water.

Your dogs can be off-leash on the island. However, keep them leashed in the parking areas and when you enter or leave the park. Keep in mind, though, that the Youth Campground and Least Tern nesting sites are off-limits* for your furry pals.

Balboa Park Nate spans 2.3 acres of fenced, open space for dogs to run around. It also has separate sections made for small and large dogs, so you don’t have to worry about trampling.

With its scenic views of the city, drinking fountains, and picnic tables available, it’s a haven to bring your whole family for a respite from city living. Also within walking distance are the famous Balboa Park’s museums and the San Diego Zoo.

4. Dusty Rhodes Dog Park (Ocean Beach)

Dusty Rhodes Dog Park San Diego is a hidden coastal gem with scenic ocean views. Located on Sunset Cliffs Blvd. between West Point Loma Blvd. and Nimitz, your pup can securely run off-leash around its fenced 1.5-acre grassy, open space with separate areas for small and large dogs.
