2023 Subaru Legacy

The 2023 Legacy lineup consists of five trim levels, starting with the Base, which features black 17-inch wheels with a machine finish, all-season tires, and LED steering responsive headlights. On the Premium, you'll find body-colored power-folding mirrors with integrated turn signals and a single exhaust outlet. The Limited sits atop 28-inch gray wheels and adds LED fog lights. Subaru equips the Sport with a power tilt/sliding glass moonroof, trunk spoiler, and Magnetite Gray Metallic finish side mirrors. Last but not least is the Touring XT, featuring a satin chrome finish on the side mirrors and dual stainless steel exhaust outlets.

The 2023 Legacy lineup's standard engine is a 2.5-liter DOHC engine capable of producing 182 horsepower and 176 pound-feet of torque. If you go with the Sport or Touring XT, you'll enjoy a 2.4-liter turbocharged DOHC engine that generates 260 horsepower and 277 pound-feet of torque. The standard engine can get up to 35 mpg on the highway, while turbocharged models can get up to 31 mpg on the highway.

Every Legacy comes equipped with Subaru's Lineartronic Continuously Variable Transmission, which optimizes output and efficiency while seamlessly shifting through gears for smooth acceleration and straightforward handling. The system features an eight-speed manual mode for manually controlling shift points for a thrilling hands-on drive. Subaru's symmetrical all-wheel-drive system also comes standard, maximizing traction on slippery surfaces, snow-covered streets, and uneven terrain. The system constantly evaluates acceleration, braking, and cornering to distribute the right amount of power to each wheel. An independent suspension makes every drive smoother and more comfortable regardless of driving conditions.

The Legacy seats five and comes standard with cloth seating surfaces. The Sport trim adds red contrast stitching, while the Limited features leather upholstery. With the Touring XT, you'll luxuriate in Nappa leather seating surfaces. Available amenities include front seats with heating and ventilation, rear outboard seats with heating, and a heated steering wheel. Depending on your trim, you can also take advantage of a Subaru Starlink Dual 7.0-inch Multimedia system, an 11.6-inch Multimedia Plus system, or an 11.6-inch Multimedia Plus system with built-in navigation. Every Legacy features a trunk measuring 15.1 cubic feet, giving you plenty of room for groceries, luggage, and other items.

The 2023 Subaru Legacy comes standard with EyeSight Driver Assist Technology, an innovative suite including advanced adaptive cruise control, lane centering, and pre-collision braking. High-beam assist can detect oncoming traffic and dim your high-beam headlights to keep them from blinding other drivers. Upper trim levels add blind-spot detection and reverse automatic braking, which make it safer to change lanes and drive in reverse. A tire pressure monitoring system lets you know when your tires aren't safe to drive on, while an advanced airbag system adds another layer of protection.
